Supreme Court, September 2016. In terms of abuse of office for the purposes of determining whether a person is complicit in a crime, the contributory role becomes relevant not only when it has causal effect, acting as a condition for the unlawful event, but also when it takes the form of a facilitating contribution and reinforcement of the criminal intent already present in the participants, thus increasing the possibility of committing the crime.
