The Coordination Board decides on appeals that concern issues of particular importance or that have generated – or may generate – different orientations among the seven territorial Boards.

The Coordination Board establishes the legal principle that the territorial Boards are required to follow in deciding future appeals on the same issue.

 

If they deem it appropriate to deviate, the territorial colleges must expressly indicate the reasons for the misalignment.

The Coordination Board is composed of:

1.  
   three of the seven Presidents of the territorial Colleges
2.  
   a member appointed by the Financial Banking Conciliator (association representing intermediaries) belonging to one of the territorial Colleges
3.  
   a member appointed by the customer representative associations belonging to one of the territorial Boards.

The members of the Coordination Board and their substitutes are drawn by lot year by year in accordance with the provisions of the provisions of the Bank of Italy.

For the year 2024, the following members are part of the Coordination Board:

  adv. Giuseppe Leonardo Carriero  – President of the ABF College of Naples;

  prof. lawyer. Emanuele Cesare Lucchini Guastalla – President of the ABF College of Turin.

Components effective for the designation of associations representing customers and intermediaries:

  prof.ssa avv. Elena Bargelli, effective member of the ABF College of Milan, appointed by the CNCU;
•  
  prof. lawyer. Nicholas Cipriani, effective member of the ABF College of Bari, appointed by the Banking and Financial Conciliator;
•  
  prof. lawyer. Gian Domenico Mosco, effective member of the ABF College of Rome, appointed by Confindustria in agreement with Confcommercio, Confagricoltura and Confartigianato.

  Dr. Flavio Lapertosa – President of the ABF College of Milan;
•  
  Dr. Marcello Marinari – President of the ABF College of Bologna;
•  
  prof. lawyer.  Fulvio Sarzana – effective member of the ABF College of Rome appointed by the CNCU;

  prof. lawyer. Andrea Nervi – effective member of the ABF Board of Naples upon nomination by the Banking and Financial Conciliator;
•  
  prof. lawyer. John Perlingieri – effective member of the ABF Board of Naples appointed by Confindustria and others.

In the event of the absence, abstention, or impediment of members, their duties are performed by the alternate members, chosen second. In the event of the absence, abstention, or impediment of the President, their duties are performed by the more senior of the two Presidents who are members of the Board.
