There blockchain, and more generally distributed ledgers – historically linked to cryptocurrencies, originally only bitcoin and in the economic-financial sector – today they are faced with new horizons such as valid tool for copyright protection.

What are NFTs, and how do they relate to other tokens?

The NFT “Non-Fungible Token” – they are digital certificates. NFTs appear to be intangible digital content.

They are said to be non-fungible because they cannot be replaced. In the case of NFTs, each object is unique and non-fungible, even if their nominal value is the same.

Their function, in other words, is not that of circulation, but of uniqueness.

Thanks to new technologies such as the blockchain, and to the’use of smart contracts we can rethink how Protecting the value and safety of products and Made in Italy, for example, or more simply protecting the creativity and ideas of a startup.
