Cryptocurrencies and decentralized finance in 2024 and the role of professionals.

2024 will mark a turning point for cryptocurrencies and decentralized finance due to several converging events, such as the entry into force of the European MICAR Regulation on cryptoassets, the Bitcoin halving, and the potential approval of innovative financial instruments such as spot cryptocurrency ETFs by regulatory authorities.
Professionals such as lawyers and accountants will play a key role in this transformation because the EU framework requires mandatory legal opinions for the exercise of certain activities, as well as the certification of certain economic and financial requirements by external professionals.
The Rome Bar Association has organised an explanatory event on these topics, on Wednesday 4 October, from 12 to 14, on the sidelines of the presentation of the book edited by’Lawyer Fulvio Sarzana of S.Ippolito, by Massimiliano Nicotra, and by Massimiliano Simbula, for Giuffrè's types.
Participants are awarded three ordinary training credits.
