The Special Unit for the Protection of Markets of the Guardia di Finanza, by order of the Preliminary Investigations Judge of Rome, executed on 10 June 2015, the precautionary measure of preventive seizure of 116 E-commerce websites.
The crimes contested to the owners of the sites are the articles 474 of the Criminal Code, which punishes the introduction into the State and into trade of products with false markings, and, for the first time, it seems, the crime of fraud against national industries, provided for by article 514 of the Criminal Code.
Among the e-commerce portals there would also be Italian sites.
