WI MAX INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE. SEMINAR BY THE LAW FIRM SARZANA E ASSOCIATI. The agreement between the Ministry of Communications and the Ministry of Defense, concluded in December 2006, allowed the progressive availability of the frequency band from 3400 to 3600 MHz, i.e. the 3.5 GHz band, for the public provision of electronic communications services in WI MAX mode. The seminar "Wi MAX and the assignment of frequencies: instructions for use," organized by the Law Firm Sarzana e Associati in collaboration with the WirelessForum, is the first of its kind in Italy and will provide a valuable tool for exploring all the key WI MAX topics: the bidding system and participation procedures, the granting of usage rights, business models, fixed, nomadic, and mobile Wi MAX, regulations regarding equipment and installation, interoperability, and equipment security.
