EUROPEAN DIGITAL REFORMS: IMPACT OF THE DIGITAL OMNIBUS ON GDPR, AI ACT, AND COMPLIANCE.

The event organized by the Rome Bar Association will take place on April 29th in Rome.

 

The Digital Omnibus redesigns the GDPR to align it with the provisions of the AI ​​Act, NIS2 and EIDAS2.

 

The reform introduces changes to personal data, automated decisions, and processing via devices, with operational deadlines spread between 2025 and 2027.

The Digital Omnibus reminds, da un lato, che alcune parti dellthat the ePrivacy provisions are brought back into the General Data Protection Regulation, in particular through the new Article 88a dedicated to processing "on or from terminal equipment"; on the other hand, the provision increasingly links the GDPR to the regulation of security incidents38 , at the single access point managed by ENISA

 

The Council of the Rome Bar Association is organizing a day of study on these topics on April 29th.
