Legal and economic impacts of the Metaverse

On date February 24th, from 3:30 PM to 6:30 PM, at the Grand Hotel Tiziano and Congress Center located in Via Porta d'Europa in Lecce, The Bar Association of Lecce e Aymone Foundation in collaboration with ANORC, are organizing an in-person event during which speakers will discuss the opportunities offered by the metaverse as well as the legal and economic challenges that this technological evolution inevitably entails.

Specifically, the speakers will discuss the following topics:

Data protection and storage and digital memory in the metaverse
Criteria for concretely identifying responsibilities in augmented reality
Metaverse transactions and their protection
Algorithmic transparency and dark patterns: protecting metaverse users.

The event will also be an opportunity to attend the presentation of the book "Metaverse Law. NFT, DeFi, GameFi and Privacy," written by university professor and lawyer Fulvio Sarzana di S. Ippolito and researchers Ivan Epicoco and Marco Pierro (published by Giappichelli).
