Artificial intelligence and crypto

At the Press Room of the Chamber of Deputies on December 18, 2024.

 

The recent tax changes to cryptocurrency taxation will be discussed, as well as the Artificial Intelligence ACT, as well as the Italian bill on artificial intelligence and the protection of personal data, during the presentation day of the book "Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain and Cryptocurrencies", published by Wolters Kluwer, by Lawyers and University Professors, Fulvio Sarzana of S. Ippolito and Massimiliano Nicotra, which will be held on December 18, 2024, at 2:30 pm, in the Press Room of the Chamber of Deputies.

 

The day, moderated by journalist Claudia Morelli, will be introduced by the Hon. Giulio Centemero, Member of the Finance Committee of the Chamber of Deputies, and will feature participation from Agostino Ghiglia, Member of the Italian Data Protection Authority; Saverio Valentino, Commissioner of the Italian Competition and Market Authority; Antonio Maria Tambato, Director of the Innovation and Digital Transition Directorate – AgID; and Marco La Greca, Head of the Legislative Division of the National Cybersecurity Agency.

 

The text addresses the complex issues related to the implementation of the AIACT as well as the implementation in Italy of the European cryptocurrency package called MiCAR.

The recent tax changes regarding cryptocurrencies, including the proposed tax increase proposed by the Italian government, will be analyzed from a comparative perspective, also examining the initiatives announced by the newly elected President of the United States.

 

The authors will also be present.
