New hard blow to the Online piracy.
The Tax Police Unit, economic protection section, at the Court of Cagliari, by order of the GIP, Today, the Italian Police carried out the preventive seizure of eight websites dedicated to the distribution of unauthorized programs on the Internet.
The websites, whose names also referred to foreign states, allowed the dissemination of protected works on the internet.
The preliminary investigations judge at the Sardinian capital has also ordered the domain name seizure used to make pirated programs available.
The investigation was based on sophisticated investigative techniques based on the "follow the money" technique and allowed the identification of the alleged managers of the portals.
